About Cinematica

Cinematica collects information you choose to share when you ask about our TikTok Shop, creator, live commerce, and production services. This policy covers our website and private client platform. The platform supports verified accounts, organization workspaces, production planning, and optional TikTok connections. Access to dashboards and connected account information requires assigned permissions.

Information we collect

An inquiry includes your name, email address, brand or TikTok handle, inquiry type, area of interest, and message. We also record the submission date and the privacy policy you acknowledged. Our hosting provider may process technical request information to operate and protect the website. Unsent form details stay in the open page and are cleared when you reload; they are not saved in browser storage.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond, assess potential collaborations, manage follow-up, and maintain business records. We use account and workspace information to provide the services you request, manage access, support collaboration, and investigate errors or misuse. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Accounts and dashboard access

We use your email address to send sign-in verification codes and identify your account. Your saved profile includes your name, company or TikTok handle, requested dashboard access, and the access assigned by our team. Authorized Cinematica team members can review profiles and manage access. We record who changes dashboard permissions and when. This information is stored using Amazon Web Services in the United States.

Organization members can access records within their assigned workspaces. Cinematica administrators manage organization membership and action permissions. Production briefs, due dates, and a history of workspace changes are stored to support collaboration.

Connecting TikTok

Connections are optional and use TikTok’s authorization screens. We never ask for your TikTok password. When you authorize a connection, TikTok provides account identifiers, granted permissions, and access and refresh tokens. Depending on the connection, we also receive your display name and authorized shop identifiers. We use these details to associate the correct account with your organization and support the features you authorize. Connection availability depends on TikTok’s app approvals and your account’s eligibility.

Tokens are encrypted before storage on our servers. They are not included in dashboard pages. Authorized workspace members can see connection names and permission summaries. Selecting Disconnect removes the stored tokens and resource details from the active connection; its name and activity history remain. To revoke TikTok’s authorization itself, also remove the app in your TikTok account settings. Disconnecting does not delete your Cinematica profile or production briefs.

Creator eligibility checks

Adults can optionally connect a TikTok profile before sending a creator inquiry. We check the account’s name, handle, avatar, and follower count against the published US creator requirements. This does not verify your age, legal identity, residence, account standing, agency agreement, or TikTok Shop approval. Answers about those items are self-reported. Do not send identity documents; complete any identity checks directly in TikTok.

This preliminary check discards access and refresh tokens after reading the profile. Its secure browser cookies expire after 24 hours. The profile snapshot becomes inaccessible after 24 hours, and expired snapshots are removed as subsequent checks run. “Remove this check” deletes your active snapshot. If you submit an inquiry, a copy of the snapshot and your answers remains with that inquiry under the retention terms below. Removing the preliminary check does not remove that submitted copy or revoke the app in TikTok; you can remove app authorization in TikTok’s account settings.

Cookies and website analytics

This version has no marketing analytics or advertising pixels. Essential cookies keep track of email verification, your signed-in session, and optional creator checks; they are not used for advertising. Signing out clears the session. Profile and content images returned by TikTok may be loaded from TikTok’s content servers. Other images and fonts are served by the website. The server or hosting provider may process routine request information, such as an IP address and requested page, to deliver and protect the site.

Service providers and sharing

We use Amazon Web Services to host the website and provide account, database, sign-in email, and credential storage services in the United States. These providers process information to deliver those services. Authorized Cinematica team members and organization members can access information according to their assigned permissions. We do not sell personal information or use connected TikTok data for advertising.

TikTok handles its own authorization screens and services. Links to TikTok or other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. Their availability and data practices are governed by those services.

Data retention

We retain inquiry and workspace records to manage client relationships, follow up on opportunities, provide the requested services, and maintain business records. Records currently remain stored until removed by an authorized administrator; there is no automatic age-based deletion. You can request deletion or account closure using the contact details below. Disconnecting TikTok removes connection tokens as described above, but does not by itself delete other records.

Before sharing sensitive information

Please use this form only for an introduction. Do not include identity documents, payment details, passwords, access tokens, or confidential business records.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or close your account. Include the email associated with your inquiry or account so we can locate your records. We may verify your identity and authority before acting on a request involving account or organization data.
